# Story

## Scope

This document covers the 57-second, 19-shot story at the beginning of the YouTube video. It is not the script for the full landscape-format HOWTO program.

## 1. The first text TAKO gave the AI (ストーリー.txt)

The first rough draft did not yet include Kakyo as the PMO. Pride spoke directly to Tessy. The following is a faithful English translation of that initial text; it has not been rewritten as a polished screenplay.

```text
Before the explanation:
We decided to call Bright-san “Pride-san.”
A relatable IT-industry skit:
The PMO is not helping and keeps asking the engineer questions.
Start with プライドさん.png.
Pride
A little intimidating:
“Tessy-kun, do you have a minute?”
Tessy
“Yes. What is it?”
Pride
“You always give us TAKODAM’s monthly usage statement like this, right?”
He says this while looking at a paper with a monthly bar chart for January through May.
Tessy
“Yes. That is the report I submit every month.”
Pride
“I want you to break the charges down into fuel and communication costs.”
Tessy
“Yes, I can do that.
But TAKODAM is a subscription. We need to ask the operator to change the billing, so the new breakdown can only start after the change.”
Pride
He folds his arms and flares his nostrils, looking as if he does not really understand.
Tessy
“Um, in other words, June stays as it is, and July will be submitted with the costs separated.”
Pride
Smiles. “Got it. I’m counting on you.”
An image for several days later: TAKO stands on a farm while the sky changes from night to day three times, and “Several days later” appears.
Pride
A little intimidating:
“Tessy-kun, do you have a minute?”
Pride
“Starting with June, you can separate TAKODAM’s charges into fuel and communication costs, right?”
Tessy
A face that says, “What?”
```

### Correction supplied during production (ストーリー訂正ー.txt)

After seeing the first attempt, TAKO realized that its relationship structure did not match the real experience. He added Kakyo as the PMO so that the request would move from Pride to Kakyo to Tessy. The following is a faithful translation of that correction.

```text
Please use the video made from the previous story as a base and apply the following correction.
Previously, Pride asked Tessy directly, but that was wrong.
This skit is an IT-industry “relatable moment” with:
the client side,
a PMO,
and an engineer.
End-client information-systems representative: Pride
PMO: Kakyoin (new character)
Engineer: Tessy
At the beginning, Pride asks Kakyoin to make the monthly report more detailed.
After that, Kakyoin speaks with Tessy. Their exchange is the same as the earlier exchange between Pride and Tessy.
Kakyoin is rigid and difficult.
It should feel as if he is simply forwarding Pride’s instruction to Tessy.
For the first request, line up Pride → Kakyoin → Tessy.
I want the instruction to feel as if it moves from right to left.
```

### How the draft referred to the source materials

The rough draft included short links between the text and image files. The AI read both the prose and these links when composing the scenes.

| Direction in the draft | Production file | Role in the story |
|---|---|---|
| Start with Pride | `プライドさん.png` | Requesting PM, placed on the right in the final version |
| New PMO character | `カキョウイン1.png`, `カキョウイン２.png` | Kakyo, placed in the center |
| Engineer Tessy | `テッシー１.png`, `テッシー２.png` | Engineer who explains the limitation, placed on the left |
| TAKODAM usage charge | `タコダム.png` | Fictional subscription service discussed in the report |
| Several days later | `タコ.png` | Farm insert showing that time has passed |

The source images themselves are not currently published. Only their filenames and story roles are recorded here.

## 2. The final story after consulting with the AI

The three characters remain lined up in a command room: Tessy on the left, Kakyo in the center, and Pride on the right. The request moves from right to left. Kakyo never checks whether he has understood Tessy’s explanation, then asks the same question several days later.

1. Pride: “Kakyo, do you have a minute?”
2. Kakyo: “Yes. What is it?”
3. Pride: “I want the monthly report to be more detailed.”
4. Kakyo: “Tessy, do you have a minute?”
5. Kakyo: “For the monthly report,”
6. Kakyo: “separate fuel costs and communication costs,”
7. Kakyo: “and submit them as individual items.”
8. Tessy: “Yes, I can do that.”
9. Tessy: “However, TAKODAM is a subscription,”
10. Tessy: “so the new statement can only begin after the change.”
11. Silent: Kakyo nods without checking whether he understood.
12. Tessy: “In other words, June stays as it is.”
13. Tessy: “Starting in July, I’ll submit the items separately.”
14. Kakyo: “Understood.”
15. Silent: A farm insert with TAKO and “Several days later” shows that time has passed.
16. Kakyo: “Tessy, do you have a minute?”
17. Kakyo: “Starting with June, TAKODAM’s charges”
18. Kakyo: “can be separated into fuel and communication costs, correct?”
19. Silent: Tessy is already frozen in confusion when the close-up begins. The camera moves in slowly and the music starts.

### Decisions made during production

- The initial direct conversation was corrected to a three-party client PM, PMO, and engineer structure.
- The new character’s working name changed from “Kakyoin” to “Kakyo.”
- The command-room positions were fixed: Tessy left, Kakyo center, Pride right.
- The story was divided into 19 three-second shots for a total of 57 seconds.
- Kakyo’s line ends at 53.5 seconds, the image cuts to Tessy at 54.0 seconds, and the music begins at 54.4 seconds.
- The initial “OH NO” idea was replaced by the royalty-free track “Kimyouna Annainin,” which conveys the feeling of wandering into a strange space.

The initial text was not a finished screenplay. A person watched the results and told the AI what was wrong with the roles, positions, direction of communication, expression, and music. Those exchanges produced the final version.
